General Information

Algorius Net Viewer keeps a Monitoring log, an Inventory performing log, and an Web Access log.

The Monitoring log contains results of devices scanning.

The Inventory performing log contains information about the inventory process: time, duration and error code (if exists) of each inventory process of each device.

The Web access log contains information about each request to the Web Server.

The log can be stored in internal or external database.

Database initialization (tables and indices creation) is performed automatically at the first access to the database.

Events are logged in the background. The recording is done transactionally, mass, using prepared parameterized query. This ensures a high efficiency: more than 10,000 records per second can be added into a local database on a computer of the average performance (Core i5).
