Configuring

To configure Web Server, select WebSettings from the main window menu, or press the Options button on the toolbar or press F9. The Options dialog box will appear. Select Web Server tab:

Check the Enable web access checkbox, specify the local HTTP address of the Web server. See Address String Format for more information. Configure the authorization type. Press OK to run the local PC Web server with the specified address.

See Possible problems section if an error message appears when you start the Web server.

Launch the Web browser and type in the specified HTTP address to access the Web server or select WebOpen Web Interface from the main window menu.

The following authorization types are available:

  • Anonymous — anonymous authorization. Access is granted to all users. No password required.
  • Basic — basic authorization. Access is granted to the specified user list. Password required. No encryption is applied when sending the password. You can specify different list of allowed maps for different users.
  • Digest — digest authorization. Access is granted to the specified user list. Password required. Encryption is applied when sending the password. You can specify different list of allowed maps for different users.
  • Integrated Windows — integrated Windows authorization. Access is granted to all the users who have access to the PC. Windows access roles can also be additionally specified (e.g. Administrators; Users). You can specify different list of allowed maps for different operating system roles.
  • Negotiate (Kerberos / NTLM) — Kerberos protocol is used in case the user and the client support one, otherwise the NTLM is used. Windows access roles can be additionally specified (e.g. ‘Domain\Role’ or ‘PC Name\Role’). You can specify different list of allowed maps for different operating system roles.
  • NTLM — NTLM authorization.
